The house is gorgeous. Congratulations!

If you squint so you don't see how stressed those trees are, they DO add an odd charm, perhaps a little Adams' Family-ish.

And they are both almost equally malformed in a leggy way, so they balance each other.

But the silver maple won't have that "odd charm" when half of it is in your attic.
