Some famous horticulturist, so famous that I forget his name, said, "Let me never be accused of having uttered such a pronunciation as "klem-MAH-tiss." Well, sure enough, I've never heard anyone accused of such a phonological vagary (pronounced "vuh-GAIR-ee").
Errrr, I don't quite know what "phonological" means. Sorry.
