I wish I knew.
Probably the fact that I'm four blocks from the ocean and the dew is very heavy in the morning lately and the foliage stays wet for hours on end, there's no breeze and my garden is very walled in.
Add to that the fact that I have TOO MANY plants crowded together in and amongst my roses. This was never an issue until this year.
The recent weather here reminds me of Florida.
