Since we really didn't have a "winter" this year, everything is out of whack in the garden. The roses were only "dormant" for less than 3 weeks. I did my usual pruning on New Years Day and three weeks later they were sprouting. They just didn't get the rest they need. They were in glorious full bloom in March. Now: Nothing but rust. They've done absolutely nothing for 3 months. SO discouraging.
Add to that the watering restrictions here. NOT at pretty picture at all.


That is really a bummer about the rust!
