What if we did something like -
"Growing and harvesting fruits and vegetables"
and then -
"Recipes and other uses for fruits and vegetables"
I'm thinking there could be confusion by some (new gardeners for one) as to what is a fruit or what is a vegetable. Many people grow some of both. Don't we also have a forum for heirlooms which alot of people post tomatoes, melons and such anyway. So combining the fruits and vegetables seems like a good idea
edit to note -recipes would include canning, drying, freezing, dehydrating, ect- preserving foods.
Recipes could be for fruits and vegetables combined on one forum, but also note other uses? Like soap, (herb soaps) potpourri, creams, herbal teas, bird treats, dog treats, using plants to color food, ect. Not really a cooking recipe per say. Maybe those things go in the crafts area?
