If you just got these plants, and very new, they may require a bit more stepped up watering till it gets more established. They really do good planted in ground, but I have mine in a bigger container and for the first year I have it in part sun/shade, and watering them then almost every other day, since our days go over 95F being inland location and we do not have any rain here for about 5 to 6 months so intensely dry. After that it has acclimated well.

So depending on your temps and rain conditions there, you may have to give it just a little more watering.
