Last summer I grew an ornamental sweet potato as a ground cover in a very large pot of Gloriosas. When I depotted said Gloriosas, amoungst the tubers I found a couple of non-Gloriosa tubers. One is kind of significant in size,

The cultivar was Ipomoea batatas Sweet Carolina Sweetheart Purple.
Is there any procedure to stimulate it into a new growth cycle?
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
