The poor kitties are having the hardest time of it .. every time they seemed to get settled, something new happens but they are actually adapting faster and faster which each new 'shock'. I love my new house and garden .. I just wish I could work on it more but we're in the middle of an oppressive heat wave - temps in upper 90's even 100's in the day so I only have a few hours in the morning and late evening I can be out in it.

My little sister arrived a week ago and it's going to take a while for us to get used to living with someone since we've lived by ourselves for a very long time. So far so good.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
