Kelli said:I've felt them both and hot and dry is better, not that it's good but it's better than humid. Being dry helps with the temperature in the house, too. With the air conditioner on, the temperature is set at 76F. I've never felt that and humid but I'll bet it would be sticky. 76F and dry is fine. (76 is the temperature at the thermostat, which is the coolest location in the house. I don't know what it is in the family room with the computer and the t.v. running. It is 80F upstairs so we turn the thermostat down to 74F when we go to bed.)

Yes, I agree. We also keep our thermostat set at 76. We have a personal weather station that displays the outdoor temp & humidity & the indoor temp. where you have the receiver located which for us is in the open concept LR/eatery/kitchen area & it always reads 78. But I will tell you we can sure feel the difference even inside when it's really humid outside. Blow drying my hair this morning seemed much hotter than when we have lower humidity & it takes a lot longer to dry it too. The A/C definitely has to work harder in humid conditions.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
