I have noticed that too, Rita. I think more and more people are becoming aware of GMO's and the companies that sell seeds know people are wary. Although truth be told, I don't think there are any home garden seeds that are GMO. But I could be wrong on that. I think of commercial seed that are grown on big farms as being the GMO suspects. A lot of people would steer away from GMO seeds but then buy and use soy, canola or corn oil in their cooking. Most of those oils are from GMO crops. At least some pressure is starting to be put on grocery stores to have their own brand canned goods labeled for GMO. Publix is moving towards that and I think I read where Kroger is doing the same. I'm sure the popularity of Chipolte is due in part to their commitment to healthier foods and their intent to eliminate all GMO foods in their restaurants.
