Thanks, Linda!

I have some SOO seeds drying out, now. Hurray!

Sam says they're not bothered by too much cold, so, if I can get them going by next weekend, and transplant them in at six weeks, they'll grow into the cool of October, and should be ready for harvest by November 7th (91 days from transplanting out). nodding

Our weather should still be very temperate, unless the fall/winter is anything like this spring has been. Thumbs down Then, we'll be wearing either bathing suits or parkas! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

P.S. This is the very FIRST season I have not had BER on ANY tomatoes. I started off with a very liberal application of a pre-plant mix (Mittleider), a couple bags of composted cow manure, and a 3" layer of my homemade compost (mostly leaves, coffee grinds, and veggie peels).

The Pre-Plant mix ratio of Lime:EP:Boron (20 Mule Team Borax) is: 80:4:1
On a manageable scale, that becomes 10 cups Dolomite lime, 1/2 cup Epsom Salts, 1/8 cup Boron. Application is 1 oz. per linear foot length down each half of a 4' wide bed. My bed is 39" wide, but, I sprinkled liberally down the length. I've been watching a Japanese gardener on YouTube who's growing unbelievable harvests in a small plot, and when he sprinkles, it's by the handsful. So, I didn't skimp on the sprinkling this time...grateful...

Note: use Lime if you get more than 20" annual rainfall; use GYPSUM if you get less than 20" annual rainfall...
