Dear Connie, thank you so much I do try my best at the moment! I only have eight Royal Parks, 1400 other parks and private parks, then open spaces to do, and I can get on with the Kent etc.!
I do not like stuffed animals, apart from politicians! In the 1860s they did not know any better and at least Mr. Horniman did it for our Nation to see, not to show how rich he was.
It is strange that in one of our poorer Cities they did a test in the schools and 87% of the children had never seen an Apple growing on a tree, and 42% did not know they grew on trees and that is sad, well I think so anyway!
That is why i believe in our Parks and Museums so much; for people with a low income and children can take them to these free places and if they cannot afford to go into the cafe they can take a picnic which is good fun and fairly cheap! I am not being political, but it is I think important children should see these things, especially when they are young and then they would appreciate them and not smash things up!
I love writing and am going to be busy as it is the Chelsea Flower Show this week and of course I am going. They have broken the record this year as there is over 100,000 different species of plants on show, my new camera will only do 35,00 photos with all the batteries I have got, still that should be good for a few Articles! Rolling on the floor laughing
Then it is off to Kent and to Winchester as I want to get Cherie some Castle pictures. This is because Cherie has never seen a real Castle, we have over 1000 built by one King plus Hundreds more!
The things are everywhere, and no Disney ones just real ones! Sue (Kniphoia) has put some lovely castle pictures on British Gardens.
It is most wonderful to see you back on cubits, and I love a comment or anything from you, don't forget the photo contest as there is a prize!
Regards and I do hope the family are well.
