I drink at least 1/2 bottle per day of the Gerolsteiner Water.

If you can't grow poppies; get bread poppy seeds (sold in bulk at Mom & pop health food stores) and grind 1 tablespoons fine with 2 tablespoons of coffee. Put in a Greek coffee pot - briki or a small sauce pan with a cup of water. Bring to a boil until it foams up the side of the pot. Remove from heat. Boil again to foaming. Drink the coffee, eat the grounds. No more pain for a while. If it doesn't work, double the poppy seeds? I like mine with soy milk or cream. My aunt always served my heliniko kafe with milk, sugar and no poppy seeds. Any self respecting Greek or Turk will look at you with a raised eyebrow if you ask for poppy seeds or milk. Do not do before drug tests....probably shouldn't drive or use a chain saw either.

I actually preferred level 8 pain to loss of a sharp mind and have avoided all typical chronic pain medications - all of the GABA and serotonin tweakers made me seriously ill at tiny sample doses. I am opiate tolerant and required 2 to 4 times the normal dose to get rid of half the pain. It is really better to try to address the cause. I am so grateful G water works for me. Add exercise; especially yoga or qi gong. Drink a cup of organic black tea (Newman's Own can be found at the supermarket) with a tablespoon of ginger, Spanish paprika (not hot), turmeric and a teaspoon of cardamom powder, raw honey. Watch drug dependence slip into the abyss. Bulk spices at the health food store are usually way cheaper and often fresher than little bottles at the supermarket. For folks on a limited income, spices are covered by food stamps/EBT. And enough of my soap box....
Don't make fear based decisions.
