Well, my hostas are not going to look anything nearly as pretty as Paul's and Ann's, theirs are just perfect. My garden for some reason....doesn't seem to grow perfect plants.
Anyhow I am just happy to be able to grow any kind of hosta down here in southeastern Alabama.
Some of these have what looks like snail or slug damage (a little of it is) but it is mostly damage from small oak limbs and twigs falling on them, being I have to try and provide lots of shade in this hot sun we have. Many of the hostas are almost hidden by elephant ears, ferns and other plants, but when they sneak out from behind the protection of the shade they pay the price and get burned.
