Yes, as ridiculous as that sounds, it is the plant's name. It once was Anemonella thalictroides, which meant "Anemonella resembling a Thalictrum," but then the genus was reclassified as Thalictrum, so the name now means "Thalictrum resembling a Thalictrum." Hilarious!
