Dear Muriel, it is a wonderful place and a secret garden. It is in fact stunning for its peace being not well known and away from the main roads. As I said I was taken there when I was at college, and it changed my view on gardening. Quite an amazing place and I am sure you would love to visit it. Sarah was a bit dubious about going there; but she took me and my camera and she loved it, it has an amazing sense of happiness, and indeed every sight just filled your daughter with awe! She was amazed by it all, and wishes to go back next year, and it is free.
I know the National Lottery gave them a lot of money to redo bits of it, but I think that is money well spent on such beauty, and indeed Historic importance.
Yes you can drift away in there, for you are never closer to God than in a Garden! This place is peace on Earth.
Love.
Neil & Sarah.
