So, those orange spiders not only thrive and shine in hot sun, they also don't at all mind the rain, according to this evidence. Two blooms this morning, a real bonus. I am loving this plant.

Another unknown, this is the first one that opened this year with a humongous flower, but subsequent blooms have been smaller. The color is not really that appealing but the blooms are gradually improving in shape, IMO. These do definitely fade badly in sun and also don't handle water on their petals very well. But this one is okay:
