Ken , a dozen or so years ago I ordered Monarda didyma 'Jacob Cline'
I did not have much in the way of luck getting it to grow. The company replaced it twice and eventually just sent a container with a M didyma scarlet beebalm plant.
...on the short side, I planted it, waited for a few years, moved it to give room to something else and expected little. Then 2 years ago, it started growing and spreading, but no blooms.
Last year, it suddenly realized what it was supposed to do and more. It put out lovely red blooms and has spilled across the bed and over the edge and may actually have to be moved/removed.
