I'll answer backward, Jill, yes, if you want more than 2 of a variety, I can do that, I'll just tie the fans together that go with that particular clump, or if you end up wanting that many, just keep them together, get a big enough order together, I might just have to deliver them! LOL.

Andi, I've never tried a home made spray... I'll have to do that with what I have left, but, I've made up my mind that we have to downsize, there's no way we can keep up with it any more, and honestly, I'd rather just have my favorite plants, and still be able to dab pollen and see what I get... I got to where I loved that more than buying new daylilies...(which was a good thing) but I don't even get to see those blooms anymore! Sad

I don't know for sure how many are going to fit in a box, the boxes haven't come yet. I'm going to have to go tomorrow and get a few boxes, and I will see, I dug 50 yesterday to get an idea. (they're going to one of my nieces)

By the 18th of July? That shouldn't be a problem.

SS gardener, I can't see the blooms on the flowers, so I can't tell what color is what. Depending on how many I have to dig, I will dig them up and lay them to the side, then I will take a double fan from each dug clump to make the 25. I can't promise colors because I can't see what is what now, and haven't been able to for a few years. They've multiplied and there could always be a rogue seedling in there I suppose too.

Paul, let me know. Looks like you're close to Sparta which is where my entire family will be in a few weeks. ;)

Okay, I will get a few boxes tomorrow so I will have a better idea of how many are going to fit in which size box.

As soon as I get that figured out, we can say it's a "go" I'll start "taking orders" this week, and dig this weekend, or sooner, depending on weather and appointments this week, but I'd say the majority I'll do on the weekend when I have a couple of helpers, then ship on Monday mornings. When that bed is gone, I'll start on another.

Hubby said to me today, "Well, you could keep one or two from each one, you know." I said, yeah, then 10 years from now we'll have the same amount we have now, or more, and another 10 years on both of us.... I don't think so.

Just don't do what I did and plant the individual fans too close together! They all form clumps, then you can't tell what fan belongs to what clump when there are no flowers!
