Wow, I'm surprised to hear so many southerners like the same cooler temperatures that I do. I would have thought that those of you that are used to a lot more hot weather would be acclimatised to it and would prefer it. My perfect temperature...? Well, it varies, depending on whether I'm slaving in the yards or sitting on my back deck swing, or whether there is a nice cool breeze. But I definitely like it cooler. I can't seem to take any kind of heat now that I'm in my 50's, although even when I was younger, I couldn't take too much. 15 minutes in the hot sun and I'm looking for shade or cool water to cool off in.
