A strange one! The Delphiniums both blue and white have been watered and fed even though it has been dry. The Crocosmia and the Gerbera's have done well as most things have. However the Delphiniums now it is coming up to September have reused to flower at all. I have given them a good dose of Tomato food as the potash normally helps things flower and fruit. The actual stems are perfect and are not staked at all, they have survived the wind and mass rain we have had lately. I have checked and checked them and I can find no disease or anything else on them.
They did get knocked back by the frost and the weather has been extremely dry till now, although at all times they have been looked after!
I find it most strange that they might come into flower so late in the year for us!
How weird.
Regards.
Neil.
