Dear Cherie, that is a Hydrangea paniculata but what exact species/cultivar it is I do not know! Viburnums normally can flower in the spring or the best ones in the winter Like Viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn'. But they normally flower from the wood and are highly scented!
Obviously some are not but the leaf shape is different and the structure as well. Sorry Cherie that is a Hydrangea.
