Thanks, Arlene; that's pretty much the same thing I do -- but even after I peel a layer of wrapper off they still don't look very "clean." I don't mind for myself, but I give a fair amount away and wish I could figure out how to make it "prettier" ! Rolling my eyes.
(I also spread mine out on screens to dry.)
