Okay. here is the instructions I got from the wholesaler.

Oncidium care

oncidiums are one of the easiest orchids to grow, and with a few simple basic requirements they will reward you with years of ever increasing long lasting blooms.. onicidiums are epiphytes, they grow in trees so roots growing out of the pot into the air is normal., onidiums are in the intermediate temperatue range of ochids provide temperatures that are up into the 80's during the day a few days of warmer temps are okay but 70- 80 is ideal
night temps in the 50's is okay i've had temps in the 4os and mine are doing fine. onicidiums like lots of light, 2,500 foot candles which a south winter should provide. keep you orchid back from the window as it can become intensely hot close to the glass and a bit cold during the winter. bright not direct light ocidiums like at least 50% humidity as most orchids do A humidity tray , misting every few days anfd grouping plants around your orchid should do the trick. water your orchid once a week throughly wetting the bark we recommend using spring/rain or distilled water not city water onicudiums do like a good drying out between waterings so don't overdo the misting. the number one killer of orchids is over wet roots keep the pot out of standing water every other week provide a weak 1/4 the strength the recommended dose fert to your water any 20 20 20 fert is fine however there are ferts made just for orchids that work best. we ae an organic farm so we place worm castings on the surface of the medium which lasts for several months good air circulation is also importent an open winter in the siummer months or a fan during the winter months work great. Avoid any a/c or heat ducts blowing directly on your orchids
