Gale - I got Red Edition last season because of that wide, white edge. The daylily has a beautiful bloom, and it is one of my most sunfast and rainfast reds. However, I was disappointed in the scape height this year. It's registered as having 40 inch scapes, and I planted it to be the centerpiece of a new garden. Well, one of the scapes is 22 inches, and the other is 24, and two of the fans did not scape. I'm hoping this is a weather-related one-time problem. About two thirds of my daylilies are blooming on shorter scapes this year.
