Thank you, Cindi, Mark. I still haven't potted up the adenium in the second photo. The underground caudex looks almost like it has a duck/goose/chicken body. So I'm thinking...trim off all the roots on the top and sides, leaving the roots underneath, and plant it as if it is sitting on a nest? And prune the branches down to the "neck?" I'm new to this kind of treatment/sculpture. Hmm... Whistling
