Yes, I had noticed that tendency even here, however, we usually only get a few weeks of really hot weather each summer; that's probably why I've had such a great success with them here. Our average summer temp is probably closer to 24C (75F) and previously mine were kept in a spot that only gets morning sunshine, in deep shade every afternoon. I'm hoping they will still do okay now that they will be getting more sunshine every day.
