I have a hydrangea, it flowered the first year we moved here, 4 years ago (it had been left for the previous 8 years, untouched) I pruned it back that fall and it didn't flower the following year. I thought I may have pruned it too much, so I left it, still no flowers. It is growing beautifully, but doesn't flower......any suggestions?
Thanks for any help
I am in zone 5b, southern Ontario. The plant is in sun/shade, beside a deck, in a garden facing south east
