Most of the rose scented peonies are old fashioned Grandma's type of peonies and they are very floppy. You will have to provide support for them if you want their fragrance. For me, Myrtle Gentry, Madame de Verneille, and Laura Dessert have a pleasant rose scent. Please know that no scent from any peony is comparable to the rose, IMHO.
