Yes, Mary Ann, it works on Bermuda grass. I had a patch of noid iris and daylilys that had become over run with 'moody' grass. I bought some Ortho Grass B Gone and sprayed the patch and all the grass died and none of the iris or the daylily plants suffered . I suggest you try it on a small area before you spray valuable plants.
FYI - a burmuda grass rhizome can live without water, soil or sunlight for a very long period of time. It can root under a 12 foot driveway. It can send an underground blade through a healthy firm iris rhizome. It can go under buried concrete walls and emerge on the other side. It can live in extreme conditions and look like it is brown, dried and dead but it is only waiting.......
