We live at 2200ft with about 150 inches of rain a year in rain forest. I grow mine in pots under cover so they don't rot when they go dormant. The one in the photo came up in a pot outside and seems fine. Do they like a lot of water. I would prefer to have them outside so I don't have to water. I think I might let them get to dry.
