Thumbs up That's a wonderful idea, Cinta. Seniors are very appreciative when someone takes time out for them. I enjoy the companionship of and sharing things with older people.

Some of my contemporaries/friends ask me to root cuttings for them, but can't take the time to come by my home and pick them up when they are ready, and I'm not going to be hauling plants around, especially not in this heat and won't be babying them overwinter either. From now on, if they see something they want, they will get the cuttings with instructions on how to root it themselves. That way, I'll know if they really are interested in caring for plants, or just want it because it's pretty and free. Otherwise, I will pot them up and give take them to a senior center.
