I'm afraid tulips and daylilies are two favorites of deer... the very best defense is to plant things they are not interested in! Smiling

If they are not hungry ... Smiling Last year, when my neighbor stopped watering his lawn because of the drought, all of his deer came down to my tiny patch of lawn and ate every single deer resistant plant out in front of the house to the point where some of them did not come back this year.

If they were born and raised in town, it seems like they will eat everything simply because they don't know any better.

Smiles,
Lyn
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
