Geof, they have started to bloom again; the hot, hot weather is affecting them. But like you, am hopeful, they will produce more beans later this fall. Every year I look forward to growing these as they are a main vegetable for our family.

Rita, thanks; they are sweet and tender picked young - but I've not eaten them raw. Your gardens are so lovely and plentiful - so envious! I just get so tired of this hot weather that I haven't been as active as I should.

Made a stir-fry of the beans, onions and chicken with black bean/garlic sauce and it was delicious.
