Nice thread idea, Teresa. Lots of great older dl's listed!

Linda, Agnes Shumate sounds like a must have.

One of my favorite oldies is Lady Neva, (Alexander-Moody, 1970). It is just now in peak, so I love the late season blooms. A few scapes will lay over because it is so tall (about 48"-54") actually taller than the registered height of 42', but for the most part the clump supports all the scapes.

Other favorites:
Parfait - tall and trumpet shaped, not a rebloomer though.
Buttered Popcorn - Just a great midseason bloomer.
Russian Rhapsody - nice, strong 30" scapes. Supposed to be a rebloomer, but I haven't seen it. I don't get a lot of rebloom.
Apple Tart - a nice red that is just now peaking. Have not seen rebloom.

I've grown partial to the tall ones that bloom well above the foliage, so that is what I look for. As long as I have enough late bloomers, I have given up on getting rebloom. I just don't see it much at all in my garden.
May all your weeds be wildflowers. ~Author Unknown
