I need to thin out my plant herd, I spend more time with my plants than I do with my hubby, and he's not too happy about that. I love my plants but the care of them is starting to get overwhelming.
This is a yellow Clivia offset, taken off an adult plant in 2011. It is rootbound, they way they like to be, with roots pushing up above the soil, and even coming out the bottom of the pot.
If you haven't grown Cliva before, they are very VERY easy and very forgiving. They thrive on neglect in winter, and in the summer I put mine outside under a little dappled shade and they just love it, and as I said, they love to be root-bound.

My Clivia have survived both sunburning off the majority of their leaves, and a greenhouse fire that literally burned off all their leaves. They are tough plants!
I bought 2 yellow varieties back in late 1990s- early 2000s, Solomone Yellow and American Yellow. I think this might be a Solomone Yellow. Flowers from one of my adult plants:
