Well, I know a little about I'm unsure as well!
There are so SOOOO many types of alocasia, but not so many available for sale.
Usually if I see a "plain green" alocasia like that, it's odora, rarely macrorrhizos... Within those 2 species, there must dozens, if not hundreds of "forms"!
It's very possible that's what you have.
The pics are not enough to say for sure, but the leaf shape, number of viens and overall look, make me think it MIGHT be something different!
Can you take more pictures?
Possibly in better light, if so, show us the top and bottom of the leaf, as well as the stems.
Any description you can give might help too, the plant is in your hands, you can see things that pics won't show.
Also where do you live?
That could give some clues!
