Hi. I have read that plumerias can grow up to 1' per year. My 2012 seedlings are about 3' tall from the soil line but my cuttings have not grown as tall. Do cuttings generally not grow as quickly as seeds?

Since I am only 5' tall I guess I'll have to start lugging around a step stool or a ladder just to get a closer look at the flowers on the seedlings.
