It could be sunburn Jojoe, at times depending on what is your prevailing temps outdoors, new succulents need to be in part shade first, and give them time to adjust to the heat. In my area where our heat is just intense and very dry, I have moved some succulents in part shade for the season. The succulents will just be in hiatus for awhile while the triple digit prevails, and then when more favorable temps return, it just naturally recovers.

These succulents love sunny and dry conditions to a point, but they are not like cacti that enjoys the extremes of heat especially when newly brought home from the store or indoors.
