Just thought I'd update how these are doing now! They have new leaves and new roots so I am guessing they like their new bark and positioning. Would like to say thanks to everyone for the help!
The one on the far left is a bit dehydrated, it lost all roots in the old bark.. They all rotted. So I cut away all rot and disinfected and now new roots are appearing in the nice fresh bark. Hopefully it means it's recovering!

Anything I can do to help this one grow roots?
