Well, I've just created some NOIDS! A teenager was helping me yesterday. We were re-doing a bed, adding amendments and such. I had 6 or 7 irises that I had to move, so I wrote their names on their leaves....and left the boy to dig them out and finish refurbishing the bed. When I came back, he'd done a lovely job- and there was a pile of
rhizomes set aside. However, there were many with no names on the leaves! The increases! So now I have 8 "named" varieties, with no i.d.! I'm debating whether to pot them up or plant them in another bed - to be i.d.'d next season!
