Lin, I just pretended the seedpod didn't exist so I don't have to think about it. Some seedpods ripen fast.

Yes Many plumeria experts including our moderator Hetty and BBB believe that Barbados Showgirl (registerered plumeria name) and Confetti are the same. Exotic Plumeria sells them for $100 per cutting. I bought mine from HD for $19 (1-tip as no ID) and BBB as rooted cutting for $29 (2-tip).

HD will not tell me who their plumeria distributor is but when both of my HD and BBB plumeria bloomed, I was surprised that their blooms and even seedpods and everything else look the same. Side by side the blooms and fragrance are identical and that's how I was able to ID the HD plumeria as Barbados Showgirl.
