TYVM! It's the hot, humid weather & rain water. (I feel bad that you can't catch any!)

Also, I recently decided that by the time I actually find a fertilizer I like & buy it, it could be years from now. I never go to a store until we're desperately out of something, hate any kind of plant shopping except when a garden center is the destination. So, in what I hope is some sort of approximation or cousin of compost tea, I've been using any water I've boiled pasta or veggies in also. Too recent to have an opinion about it as potential fertilizer, but should be safe for plants, and adds to my overall amount of "free" water. When I added some to rain bucket yesterday, (to share the love to more possible potted plants,) my dog though it was really tasty. Smiling

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)

Try to be more valuable than a bad example.
