@fiat, the reason for so many blooms when you first brought your
Peace Lilies (Spathiphyllum) home may possibly be due to the grower/nursery feeding it heavily to produce many blooms for market. Mine are sporadic bloomers unless I fertilize them and I'm usually really bad about remembering to feed my plants but my 'Domino' recently had lots of blooms because I did fertilize it in May with a bloom booster (high middle number) plant food. I always use much, much less than the recommended amount on the label. These photos are from early June:
