Can you believe this? I myself have been puzzled about this until I dug around today and found the tags in the soil. Here are two very different looking flowers from the same cross planted last year in my garden. 2 seeds, same cross, with 2 amazing flowers blooming today. It's all in the genetics, but isn't nature great!!
"Fourth of July in Georgia' X 'Briar Patch'
<----------------->
I have one more sdlg. to show you that bloomed last year for the first time, and since then I moved it to the main garden last Fall, because I loved it.
'Fantastic Fringe' X 'Fringy' - 2 1/2 yr. old sdlg. 26" Scape, 24 Buds, 5 1/2" Bloom. This is an early bloom, and does not due justice to the beauty of this sdlg.
