Annie,

Check the carpets ever so often. If the tanks sweat and the rugs get wet - you are going to have wet, smelly carpet pieces in your basement.

I started zinnias and cosmos late, too. I have buds starting on the zinnias, but the cosmos haven't even germinated. I'm hoping for a LONG, WARM Fall season to at least see these flowers bloom.

Been feeling under the weather for the last 2 weeks. Had a bad Diverticulitis attack on 7/15. Saw my gastro doc, got meds (Flagyl & Cipro- horrible stuff) and just basically became a "house" potato while recuperating. Went from a liquid diet to a very low fiber diet, and now SLOWLY adding back more fiber foods. I'm feeling better now, and have felt well enough to do a bit of putzing outside. I just don't stay at it too long. I still tire easily. I've lost about 8 pounds, but what a heck of way to lose it! I go back to the doctor August 5th. Sometimes I feel like I'm falling apart. So much for the "Golden Years".
