I buy from specialty bulb companies for daffys and tulips and other assorted bulbs but for irises I only buy from iris farms. I do swap irises and do for postage irises, otherwise I would have a very small garden, and those are more accurate than paid sources. What really rankles me is the photos of unbelievable blue irises only to get another lovely purple iris. It pays to know the vendor too and to know their practice of deception by photo. yep, I said it. putting a lovely photo of a blue or turquoise blue iris in a magazine and selling you a lavender one is deceptive. I now go to the wiki site and read the description of the color of any iris I see on an iris site and am tempted to by.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
