Ann I like that idea. I am a voluntary rain logger for the University of Arizona here. Every day those of us that do this turn in a total to them. The official rain total is measured at the Airport here and many of us jokingly have said for years, that no one lives at the airport. This way we can see truly what all areas of town are receiving. We receive a monthly report from the U of A as well detailing the weather of the past month. Thumbs up
