I have a list of must have favorites I grow each year. The number of plants varies but I always have them. Then there are ones that skip years but always end up returning sooner or later. So if there are too many new try outs some of those "second tier" varieties get moved back to next year.

Of course by trying new ones I find must haves to add to the garden. That is how I discovered Vivia Italia, I used to grow Roma. And I tried Juliet and since then never been without it.

I tried Sungold, loved it and grew it but when I tried Sunsuger I moved over to only growing the SunSuger. And so it goes.

I have a number of new to me Beefsteak types this year. I have the actual variety called Beefsteak and it is a large slicer with great taste. I also have bush Beefsteak but nothing ripe as yet. Then I have one called Balls Beefsteak that is making blemish free perfect looking tomatoes.
