I wonder if a persons soil and other things factor into how the alfalfa pellets work. I had not used them before it was recommended to me here on ATP last fall. There is a mill in the area that makes them and they are suppose to be as close to 100 per cent alfalfa as possible.

Never in my wildest dreams could I have hoped for the gardens that I had this year. Plants with more scapes than I had ever seen, huge flowers, and the sharpest colors I have ever had. Add to that, the latest bloom season ever in this area, and you have one happy gardener.

This has just been my experience and I am sure all the rain helped too. I have a lot of sinus problems so the meal might be too much dust for me to handle. I would sure give it a try if it wasn't for the shipping.
Happiness is doing for those who cannot do for themselves.
